  • Innovative School Brings Daydream's Music Posters to Life!

Head of Music at Willows High School, Gareth Ritter @ritzertech, has found two fantastically innovative ways of bringing our popular Music posters to life!

Using the augmented reality app, Aurasma, Mr. Ritter has linked our posters to example videos that relate to the content in the poster! The related videos encourage deeper learning and provide pupils with real footage of music in action.

Watch how our Orchestra Poster has been brought to life here.

Mr Ritter has also used the invention kit, Makey Makey, to add audio to Daydream's posters. Students simply press the play buttons on the posters to hear audio examples that relate to the content in the posters.

    Watch the example video here.

So what are you waiting for?! Get your Music posters here, and start creating your own innovative and interactive classroom diplays!

Organised by the British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA) and Brilliant Marketing Solutions Ltd., The Education Resources Awards highlight the quality and diversity of educational products and resources, excellent educational establishments and the most dedicated members of the teaching profession and supplies industry, all working together to encourage the very best in education.

The Supplier of the Year award is judged on:

    • How our product range meets the needs of schools today
    • How we demonstrate outstanding customer-care and an exceptional standard of service to education
    • How we are developing an awareness of and a responsibility towards sustainability and the environment

Keeping a close eye on changes and trends in the education industry always ranks highly on our priority list and we pride ourselves on consistently adapting our products so that they meet the ever changing needs and expectations of students and teachers alike. This is reflected in our new Computer Science Posters which are helping hundreds of schools around the UK with the transition from ICT to Computer Science.

The winners will be announced at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham on the 20th of March, coinciding with the Education Show! For more information about the awards click here.

  • Brand New Bespoke Design Service - Your Poster, Your Design!

Daydream Education are offering a new bespoke printing service enabling you to customise any poster by adding school badges, colours and QR codes.

The QR codes can link to school websites or policies. For example, on our Internet Safety poster you could incorporate a QR code that links to your school's Internet Safety Policy. The bespoke posters provide a fantastic way of helping promote a uniform message across the school. Why not incorporate a QR code that links to your school's Bullying Policy on one of our Bullying Posters?

We were recently commissioned by Durham County Council to produce a range of English and Maths Posters that included the logo and motto for their adult education service. They deliver educational programmes to adults (16+) in a wide variety of subject areas and they wanted a range of posters that highlighted the service brand and provided visual aids for their learners. Daydream's colourful and informative posters are perfect for supporting visual learning and incorporating the council's logo and motto helped promote their service brand.
