  • Daydream Education wins Best Educational App @ Bett 2014

The world’s largest technology in education event

    28th January, 2014

    BETT 2014 App Winner

Daydream Education is thrilled to announce that its fantastic new Multiplication app won the 'Educational App' category at the prestigious BETT awards!

Associated with BETT, the world's largest technology in education show, the international awards play a key role in identifying and rewarding innovative
ICT resources and services for use in education.

The judges commented that, “The multiplication app is great value for money at just £2.49 and would be of use to teachers and parents in helping students
learn mathematical concepts. We were particularly impressed by the instructional presentations. The app, which works on both iPad and Android devices, is
linked to the methods of teaching multiplication in the new national curriculum.”

Like all of our apps, the multiplication app is an intuitive, flexible learning tool that helps teachers integrate tablet-based learning into the
classroom. Featuring a wealth of curriculum-based content, interactive features and engaging assessment activities, the apps provide teachers and pupils
with an abundance of activities that cater for a wide-range of abilities.

Caroline Wright, director of BESA, pioneers of Bett, the Bett Awards and the education sector’s trade association commented, “While the unprecedented
number of entries has made it tougher for the judges, it does mean that Daydream Education has been identified as the very best in its product category.
Due to the international recognition of Bett in terms of its place in showcasing the latest learning technologies, the Bett Awards support international
trade by providing educators all over the world with a means of identifying the most innovative and effective ICT products and services.”

Debbie French, portfolio director at i2i Events Group summarised; “Becoming a Bett winner is something that companies strive to achieve. The 2014 Awards
mark the 16th year of celebrating and acknowledging the world’s leading developments of ICT within education. We applaud Daydream Education for
    the excellence it provides.”

Chris Malcolm, managing director at Daydream Education added, “It is a huge honour to receive such recognition from within the industry. To win such a
prestigious award, especially knowing how strong the competition was, shows how our simple yet innovative approach to learning is paying off. A great deal
of credit and thanks goes to our dedicated team of employees and consultant teachers who are vital to our success and ensuring that we are at the forefront
    of latest learning technologies.”
